Carbomer. ACRITAMER 940 by RITA Corporation is polyvinyl carboxy polymer-based thickening agent. It also acts as a viscosity enhancer and gelling agent. It is a homopolymer and is crosslinked with sucrose ethers. ACRITAMER 940 is used primarily in systems where sparkling clarity is not essential.
