JADEWIN BP-5 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology acts as a UV filter and protecting agent. It is a 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone-5-sodium sulfonate. It prevents colorant fading in transparent packaging, stabilizes viscosity of gels when exposed to UV radiation and improves stability of fragrance oils. Moreover, it prevents brittle or bleached hair from UV radiation. JADEWIN BP-5 finds application in formulating conditioning shampoos, hair gels & setting lotions, mousses & sprays, body cleansers and sun protection lotions (O/W). Complies with AICS, DSL, EINECS, IECSC, ENCS, ECL, TSCA and PICCS.
