Palmitic Acid (>98%). KORTACID 1698 by Pacific Oleochemicals acts as a surfactant, opacifying-, cleansing and emulsifying agent. It is used as a fragrance ingredient, thickening & gelling agent, stabilizer and emollient for facial creams and lotions. It contains palmitic acid, a saturated fatty acid which yields cetyl alcohol on hydrogenation. It is used to produce soaps and cleaning products in cosmetic industry. KORTACID 1698 is REACH registered.
