Ecolano™ MAC

Cholesteryl Macadamiate. Ecolano™ MAC by NIPPON FINE CHEMICAL is an emollient and moisturizing agent. It offers barrier function, lamellar liquid crystal forming ability, high water holding property & moisture retention. It is a sterol ester derived from macadamia nut oil based fatty acid and cholesterol. This ingredient is similar to essential intercellular lipids. It improves rough skin and dry/damaged skin. It has a melting point close to the human temperature. It spreads well on skin and is comfortable to use. Ecolano™ MAC is used in cosmetic applications. It can be used as a quasi-drug product. It is listed in IECIC 2014.
