Emulsifying Wax O (SLS Free)

Cetyl-Stearyl Alcohol. Emulsifying Wax O (SLS Free) by New Directions Aromatics acts as a thickener and stabilizer. It is composed of 50% cetyl alcohol and 50% stearyl alcohol derived from vegetable oils (coconut / palm kernel). It is gluten-, BSE/TSE- and phthalate-free. It is hydrophilic wax best suited for viscosity regulation in cosmetic oil and water emulsions. It is compatible with most animal, vegetable and mineral waxes and a large variety of natural and synthetic resins. Emulsifying Wax O (SLS Free) is used in creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners, face cleansers and baby products.
