Malva Sylvestris Flower Extract. Acts as a soothing, calming and moisturizing ingredient. Its emollient and hydrating properties are related to its remarkable composition in uronic mucilages. The flower head is also a precious source of phenolic compounds (anthocyanins, including malvin), flavonoids, and phenolic acids (p-coumaric acid, cholorogenic acid and caffeic acid), tannins and amino acids. The extract is free of preservatives, impurities and solvent residues. Used to formulate products for sensitive skin, eye care and after-sun care.
