Anemarrhena Asphodeloides Root Extract. Jimo Extract by The Garden of Naturalsolution acts as an anti-oxidant, anti-wrinkle and UV protecting agent. It is the extract of the roots of anemarrhena asphodeloides. It contains mangiferin, anemarnosides and sarsasapogenin as active compounds. It offers anti-fungal and anti-depressant effects. Mangierin inhibits free radical production in keratinocytes and expression of m-RNA/protein & activity of MMP-1, induced by hydrogen peroxide. It also exhibits photo-protective and anti-wrinkle effects on UVB-induced skin damage. Jimo Extract finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
