Hazelnut Extract-NS

Corylus Avellana Seed Extract. Hazelnut Extract-NS by Natural Solution acts as an anti-oxidant and anti-microbial agent. It is an extract of the nuts of hazelnut, corylus avellana. It is a rich source of α-tocopherol, mono-unsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid) and phytosterols (β-sitosterol). Moreover, it contains benzoic acid, gallic acid, myricetin and catechins as active compounds. Its oil shows astringent and emollient properties. It exhibits anti-microbial activity against gram(+) bacteria like B. cereus, B. subtilis and S. aureus. Hazelnut Extract-NS finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
