Cyclohexasiloxane (and) Cyclopentasiloxane. It is a silicone active and volatile in nature. It has low viscosity cyclic siloxane fluid which is non-polar and insoluble in water but completely miscible in lower alcohols and aliphatic solvents. It can be blended with other volatile cyclic siloxanes and with silicone oils in any ratio. It shows good spreadability, excellent lubricity, dry-non greasy feel, improved wet combing and greater flexibility in formulating cosmetic products. It is compatible with many organic materials, solvents. Offers improved efficacy of antiperspirants. Its applications are in antiperspirants & deodarants, skin care, sun care, hair care, decorative cosmetics & make up products.
