Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate. SS4230 by Momentive Performance Materials acts as film former. It is a blend of silicone resin and cyclopentasiloxane. It imparts excellent water repellency. It can be added directly to the oil phase of the formulation.

SS4230 is suitable applications include protective skin products, sunscreen products, facial make-up, lotions and creams.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
