Silsoft* Silicone gel

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Cetearyl Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. Silsoft* Silicone gel by Momentive Performance Materials acts as an emulsifier. It is a cross-linked high molecular weight silicone swollen in cyclopentasiloxane. It contains an alkyl moiety to provide good organic and silicone compatibility.

• It helps the formulations spread evenly and quickly for a silky, cushioning feel.
• It offers minimal balling and improves the sensory aesthetics of tacky formulations.
• It provides soft, non-greasy, rub-in during applications.
• Silsoft* Silicone gel is used in physical organic UV absorbers, oil-free & after-sun care products, moisturizers, anti-aging, and body lotions.
• Also applicable for foundations, lip colors, pressed powders & anhydrous products like eye serums, facial serums and AP/DEO.
• It has the ability to withstand heat and high shear adding to the ease of formulation processing.
• It can be easily incorporated into the oil phase of a formulation by simple mixing.
