Mica (CI 77019) (and) Silica. Timiron® Stardust MP-80 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is silvery-white sparkling powder. In decorative cosmetics, it is used to produce a luster effect in combination with conventional pigments and dyes used for color. Timiron® Stardust MP-80 has a fine particle size which exhibits a satiny sheen and is relatively opaque. With increasing particle size, it is more brilliant, lustrous and transparent. It offers glitter effects in shower & tooth gels and soaps. It is suitable for use in toiletry products such as shampoos and facial washes.
