Phloretin by McKinley Resources acts as an antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. It is derived from the bark of apple, pear and grapefruit trees. It accelerates skin renewal, inhibits pigment and enhances product penetration. It can protect skin from photo-aging. It inhibits 80% of the elastin destroying enzyme, elastase, which causes wrinkles and saggy skin. Phloretin is suitable for lotions, skin care and sunscreens formulations.
