Triethyl Citrate (TEC) by Mamta Polycoats acts as a plasticizer, antiperspirant/deo-active, dispersant, solvent and fixative. It inhibits enzymatic decomposition of components of sweat. It helps in the better dispersal of insoluble organic UV filters in modern-day sun creams. It also function as a film-strengthening agent in hair sprays and nail polish. Triethyl Citrate (TEC) applications include face care, body care, deodorants, sun care, fragrances, color cosmetics, hair treatments and nail care products. It has a shelf life of at least 2 years.
