PEG-8 Dimethicone (100%). PEG-8 Dimethicone by MakingCosmetics acts as a silicone conditioner and emollient. It is a non-ionic, water-soluble dimethicone copolyol made from dimethyldichlorosilane. It improves skin feel and detackifies ingredients in formulas. It adds slip to carbomer-based formulas and also adds additional moisturization to surfactant systems. PEG-8 Dimethicone is used in creams & lotions, shower gels, makeup, hair care- and sun care products. It is GMO- & preservative-free and vegan certified. The shelf life is 36 months.
