Irish Moss Extract (MakingCosmetics)

Glycerin (39.5%) (and) Aqua (39.5%) (and) Chondrus Crispus Extract (20%) (and) Phenoxyethanol (1%). Irish Moss Extract by MakingCosmetics is an emollient, moisturizing- and lubricating agent. It is obtained from irish moss, a sea algae species (red algae). It is dissolved in a base of glycerin (from naturally derived oils) & water and is preserved with phenoxyethanol. It consists mainly of polysaccharide carrageenan (55%), nearly 10% protein and about 15% mineral matter. It is also rich in iodine and sulfur. Irish Moss Extract shows great demulcent qualities. It is ideal for irritated-, dry and aging skin. It is also suitable for hair and scalp products. It is used in serums, creams & lotions, skin cleansers, sun- & after-sun care, sunscreens and face- & hair masks. It is GMO-free and Vegan certified. It is derived from organic, pesticide-free materials. The shelf life is 24 months from production date.
