Dimethicone (100%). Dimethicone Fluid by MakingCosmetics acts as an emollient and conditioning agent. It is a 100% active linear silicone polymer (polydimethylsiloxane). It is made from dimethyldichlorosilane which is produced by powdered silicon (silicone dioxide) and methyl chloride. It has low viscosity, making it suitable for various liquid, low-viscous skin & hair care products. It takes out the whitening of creams & lotions when rubbed into the skin. It imparts a non-greasy and dry feel. It improves wet & dry combing and offers softness & silky gloss in hair care products. Dimethicone Fluid makes colors more dispersible (solvent). It is used in shampoos & conditioners, color cosmetics (lipsticks, lip balms, makeup) and skin protectant products. It is GMO- & preservative-free and vegan certified. The shelf life is 24 months.
