Sunhancer™ Eco SPF Booster

Sunhancer™ Eco SPF Booster by Lubrizol increases SPF and protects from the sun. It is composed of micronized particles made from a blend of oryza sativa bran wax and carnauba wax. This non-nano product reduces the proportion of UV filter ingredients in formulations while maintaining the same level of skin protection as traditional UV filter-based formulations. Moreover, it reduces UV filter ingredient content and tends to improve sunscreen aesthetics and lightness while reducing oiliness, drag & skin irritation. It is inherently biodegradable and non-persistent in the environment. In a sunscreen, the particles of the SPF booster increase the number of scattering sites, limiting the interaction of UV rays with the skin. It provides a powdery after-feel to formulations and improves sustainability, lower the formulation costs and get a better SPF result. It impacts the entire UV spectrum and works both with organic and inorganic sunscreen actives.
