Sulfochem™ B-498 surfactant blend

Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (and) Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (and) Cocamide MEA. Sulfochem™ B-498 surfactant blend by Lubrizol is a cleansing agent and foam enhancer. It is a clear shampoo base formulated to yield a rich shampoo with the addition of fragrance, preservative and water. Viscosity can be adjusted with the addition of sodium chloride or by modification of this product surfactant blend/water ratio. Typically, viscosities as high as 10,000 cps may be achieved with a dilution of 35% to 65% water. The pH adjustment can be made with citric acid to the desired pH. Sulfochem™ B-498 surfactant blend is used in formulating body wash and hand soaps.
