Starch Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride. Sensomer™ CI-50 polymer is a conditioner. It is a non-paraben, non-GMO, aqueous solution of a naturally derived cationic polysaccharide produced from food grade potato starch that has not been genetically modified and is free of environmental toxic residues. It is preserved with sodium benzoate. It can easily be incorporated into clear formulations. It increases the elastic properties and helps the flow properties of the product. It helps increasing the spreading characteristics of the product, making it easier to apply, dispense and spread. It provides smooth, non-tacky skin feel. It leaves hair soft with natural feeling. It exhibits excellent detangling, wet combing, improves manageability and ease of styling and helps moisturize hair. It increases supple feel & maintains foam stability. It increases ability to moisturize skin & leaves skin feeling soft and silky. It has a high refractive index, giving sheen to skin & hair. Sensomer™ CI-50 polymer is used in shampoos, conditioners & styling aids, liquid cleansing products, moisturizing creams and lotions. It is China compliant-formerly CFDA.
