Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine. Schercotaine™ SCAB-50 betaine amphoteric by Lubrizol is as a mild surfactant, thickener, foaming and wetting agent. It provides synergistic effect of increased foam and stability in combination with alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, alkyl-benzene sulfonates and soaps. It is anti-irritant and offers gentle cleansing and viscosity-building properties. It is free from preservatives and enables sulfate-free formulations. Schercotaine™ SCAB-50 betaine amphoteric is used in baby & adult shampoos, hand soaps, intimate & mild cleansers and shaving products.
