Merquat™ PLUS 3330 polymer

Polyquaternium-39. Merquat™ PLUS 3330 polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioning agent and sensory modifier. It is an ampholytic terpolymer of acrylic acid, diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and acrylamide. It is compatible with anionic and amphoteric surfactants. In hair care products, it contributes luster and a soft, silky feel. It provides excellent slip, lubricity dry and snag-free wet combability without excessive buildup. It adds sheen to dry hair, reduces static and helps hold curls without flaking. It provides excellent moisturization & imparts a smooth, velvety feel. It reduces tightness after drying skin as well reduces irritation from liquid skin cleansing products. Liquid cleansing products acquire richer, thicker foam with improved stability. It is preserved with methyl and propyl paraben. Merquat™ PLUS 3330 polymer is used in formulating body lotions/creams/gels, body wash, facial & mild cleansers, hand sanitizer, shampoos, hand soaps, shaving & styling products.
