Merquat™ 3940 polymer

Polyquaternium-39. Merquat™ 3940 polymer by Lubrizol acts as a conditioner. It is a non-paraben, ampholytic terpolymer that is compatible with anionic and amphoteric surfactants. It provides silky, smooth, velvety skin feel and moisturization. In hair care formulations, it provides excellent wet and dry combing properties. It contributes lubricity and helps to hold curls without flaking. It acquires richer, thicker foam with improved stability and reduces irritation & tightness. Merquat™ 3940 polymer is used in facial & intimate cleansers, hand sanitizers, hand soaps, wipes and shaving & styling products.
