Merquat™ 2200 polymer

Polyquaternium-7. Merquat™ 2200 polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioner. It is a dry, preservative free, cationic copolymer. It is used in anhydrous products. It improves wet & dry properties of hair care products. It also enhances feel in bath and shower products and reduces tightness after drying skin. It provides lubricity, improves the wet detangling and combability of hair. Liquid cleansing products acquire richer, thicker foam with improved stability. It is synergistic when used with antiperspirant and deodorant actives. Merquat™ 2200 polymer is used in body wash, facial cleansers, hand soaps, shampoos, shaving & styling products and hair coloring products.
