Polyquaternium-6. Merquat™ 106 polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioner. It is highly charged, low molecular weight, cationic homopolymer. It improves ease of wet combing and wet feel in high pH hair care products. It imparts smooth, velvety feel, reduces tightness after drying and provides excellent moisturization, slip & lubricity. Merquat™ 106 polymer is used in antiperspirant/deodorant, body wash, wipes and shaving products.
