Physalis Alkekengi Calyx Extract (and) Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Beta-Carotene. ScreenLight™ Block by Arxada is a bioactive functional ingredient which protects the skin against the visible effects of blue light and environmental stressors by reducing the negative impact on cellular antioxidant potential. The Physalis alkekengi extract is rich in phytosterols & produced using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction and beta-carotene is obtained by the fermenting fungus Blakeslea trispora. It helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles resulting in skin that appears more evenly toned. It prevents increased melanin production from exposure to visible light and pollution. ScreenLight™ Block is used in facial cream and after-shave lotion, for make-up and for gentle cosmetic formulations.
