Cranberry organic Herbasol® Extract Glycerine SB by Lipoid Kosmetik is a selective biofilm balancer. It has an anti-adhesive and anti-biofilm forming activity, but selectively supports biofilms of beneficial skin bacteria. Its unique phytochemicals help to selectively obstruct the formation of undesirable biofilms. It tackles skin blemishes and controls a healthy skin microbiome. Hence, it can be used as stand-alone active ingredient to control cutaneous biofilms, or complementary to antimicrobial agents. Moreover, it is non-biocidal in nature. Cranberry organic Herbasol® Extract Glycerine SB is suitable for o/w, w/o emulsions and water-based products, including shower gels, facial gels, cleansing liquids and tonics.
