Vida-Care AVP-20

VP/Hexadecene Copolymer (and) VP/Eicosene Copolymer (and) Triacontanyl PVP. Vida-Care AVP-20 acts as a film former, pigment dispersant, SPF booster, emulsion stabilizer, viscosity/texture modifier and water-proofing agent. It is a graft copolymer derived from vinylpyrrolidone and long chain alpha olefins. It provides rub/wear- and humidity resistance. It is substantive, cold-processable and possesses moisture barrier properties. It is soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones and mineral oils but insoluble in water and only partially soluble in alcohols, glycol ethers and cyclic compounds. Vida-Care AVP-20 can be used to formulate sun care and color cosmetics, barrier creams and hair styling creams. Complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No1223/2009.
