Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Benzyl Alcohol (and) Benzoic Acid. La’PHEN BD is a mild preservative. It is a combination of benzoic and dehydroacetic acid in benzyl alcohol. It is free of halogenated organic compounds, formaldehyde and off formaldehyde compounds. La’PHEN BD is used in personal care and cosmetics and meets all the requirements of the Cosmetics Directive.
