Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane-BMDBM (Chem 1789) acts as an anti-aging agent and sunscreen agent. It is a very effective UV-A filter. Absorbs UV-A radiation and protects the skin effectively from skin aging. It is photo-unstable, the use of photostabilizer is recommended. Used in sun care products.
