It is a vegetable wax from the leaves of the brazilian tree of life. It is the highest melting point natural wax that can impart gloss, hardness, slip and improved thermal stability to a variety of applications. It is obtained from the older leaves and is hard & brittle available in light brown to brown colored flakes. Type 3 Carnauba #104 finds application in formulating lipstick and other cosmetic products.
