ZNO-USP1-I2

Zinc Oxide (94.00-99.00 %) and Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate (1.00-6.00 %). ZNO-USP1-I2 by Kobo acts as an UV filter and dispersant. Nano zinc oxide surface is treated with Kobo's patented ITT (Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate) treatment. This treatment forms a uniform coating of lipophilic isostearate groups, which improves the dispersibility of powders in esters, natural oils and hydrocarbons. Moreover, dispersion enhances properties like protection and transparency. It provides good skin affinity and reduces oil absorption of powders. Hence, higher loading in formulations can be used without causing a dramatic viscosity increase. ZNO-USP1-I2 finds application in formulating non-greasy cream or powders, lipsticks, liquid foundations, eye shadows, sun care formulations etc. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, ENCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
