ZNO-750-ASGP6

Zinc Oxide (94-98 %) (and) Stearoyl Glutamic Acid (2-6 %) (and) Polyhydroxystearic Acid (1-3 %). ZNO-750-ASGP6 is a superdispersible, non-nano, ASGP and ZnO surface treated pigment and powder by Kobo Products. Designed for emulsions, hot pours, anhydrous gels and pressing powders. Provides a creamy feel and true color. It is ideal for formulating mild or hypoallergenic sun care products with UVA/UVB protection for babies and people with sensitive skin. Promotes better wear properties due to treated pigments’ adhesion to skin. It requires only minimal agitation and energy during grinding phase. ASGP treatment contains Stearoyl Glutamic Acid (ASG) base coating to provide stable hydrophobicity and Polyhydroxystearic Acid (P) to improve dispersibility. Because of its relatively low reflective index, large particle size ZnO can be used in formulas without causing significant whitening. ZnO meets USP specification prior to surface treatment. ZNO-750-ASGP6 complies with EU, TSCA, EINECS/ELINCS, IECSC and PICCS inventories.
