Titanium Oxide (97-99%) and Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate (0.5-3%). TiO2-IR300-I2 by Kobo Products acts as a sunscreen agent and treated pigment. It shows a great capacity to block near infrared radiations (IR-A). It is treated with Kobo's patented ITT (Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate) treatment which forms a uniform coating of lipophilic isostearate groups. It can be easily wetted by and dispersed in many esters, natural & mineral oils or hydrocarbons at over 70% solids. It provides good skin affinity, reduces oil absorption and viscosity thus increasing loading. TiO2-IR300-I2 is used to develop dry feeling (non-greasy) cream-to-powder or liquid foundations, lipsticks, one-step make-ups, cheek color, eye shadow and sunscreen products. Complies with TSCA, DSL/NDSL, EINECS/ELINCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
