SW40Y6A

Synthetic wax (and) Yellow 6 lake (and) Isopropyl titanium triisostearate. SW40Y6A is a pigment dispersant. It contains 40% yellow 6 lake in liquid synthetic wax. The pigment is surface treated with Kobo's patented ITT (Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate) treatment prior to dispersion. Possesses primary particle size greater than 0.2 microns and offers full color development, better stability, improved gloss and ease of use. SW40Y6A is compatible with mineral oil, castor oil, polydecene, octyl palmitate, isododecane and synthetic wax; slightly compatible with phenyl trimethicone and non-compatible with diwater, diisopropyl adiapte, cyclomethicone as well as dimethicone2. It is used in wide range of color cosmetics, preferably in anhydrous formulations (e.g. lipstick, blush and other stick forms). May also be used in emulsions (e.g. liquid and cream foundation, cream-to-powder make-ups, lipsticks and blush). SW40Y6A is listed in Europe, Australia, Japan and Canada inventory.
