Water, Propylene Glycol, Mica, Polyquaternium-11, Agar, Titanium Dioxide, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxides (CI 77499) and Parabens. Sp-BkFEB41m by Kobo Products are large, metallic-gray visible beads. Called as Softspheres™, they are used for the delivery of lipophilic and/or anionic active ingredients. Made of agar-agar, it is soft enough for being crushed onto the skin and deliver the entrapped active material and colorant (like titanated mica). It uses the properties of a cationic and amphiphilic polymer, a copolymer to interact with active molecules by means of ionic bonds and/or hydrophobic interactions. The complex is too large to move through the agar matrix and the bonded molecule is thus trapped within the soft bead. Sp-BkFEB41m is suggested for use in emulsions, transparent gels, shower gels, shampoos, toothpaste and soaps.
