KTZ® ROUSSILLON-I2

Blend of Mica, iron oxides (CI 77491) and isopropyl titanium triisostearate (ITT). KTZ® ROUSSILLON-I2 by Kobo acts as a dispersant, pearlescent- and treated pigment. It provides brilliant luster, superb coverage, rich and velvety feel. Surface treatment of pearlescent pigment with ITT enhances the dispersibility of the pearl, decreases surface activity and maximizes water repellency. Further, it allows for an easy formulation in esters, mineral oils and silicone fluids. The treatment also improves spreading, gloss, adhesion, feel on the skin and pressability in powders. KTZ® ROUSSILLON-I2 is a free flowing powder with red-brown appearance and is insoluble in water. Applications in formulating eyeshadows, face powders, lipsticks, foundations, corrective skin products, sunscreens, body lotions, face lotions, body washes, shampoos and conditioners.
