Polyvinylpyrrolidone. Vida-Care C K30W30 acts as a film former, stabilizer and pigment dispersant. It is a planar, linear molecule with high polarity. It forms hard, glossy, clear, oxygen permeable films and is compatible with most of the inorganic salts, surfactants and other film formers. It is completely soluble in water and many organic solvents. Vida-Care C K30W30 shows pseudo-cationic behavior in solution and forms complexes with other materials via hydrogen bonding, dipolar and inductive interactions. It stabilizes emulsions, dispersions and suspensions. It is biocompatible and physiologically inert. It is compatible with all types of thickeners and makes gels with excellent clarity. Vida-Care C K30W30 helps in stabilizing creams. It also offers de-staining and gelling properties in toothpastes. It aids foam stabilization and mildness enhancement in anionic surfactant-based cleansing products. It imparts stiff and crunchy feel to gels, sprays and lotions. Used in hair styling products such as sprays, gels, mousse, creams and lotions, hair colorants, baby shampoos, bath foam etc. Complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No1223/2009.
