Cyclopentasiloxane and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. SeraSilk® PD 71 by KCC Beauty acts as a strong mattifying and anti-frizz agent. It is a mixture of high molecular weight crosslinked silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane. It is cold processable and has low level of cross-linking for enhanced light, soft, silky and powdery feel. It imparts viscosity to W/O emulsions and enhances spreadability & soft-focus effect of the finished product. Moreover, it has sebum absorption property which offers a matte, dry, smooth and non-greasy appearance. Moreover, it provides ease of use and good rolling effect to make-up products. SeraSilk® PD 71 finds application in formulating antiperspirants, color cosmetics, skin-care and hair-care products.
