SeraSense® SQ-41

Silicone Quaternium-8. SeraSense® SQ-41 by KCC Beauty acts as a conditioning and wetting agent. It is a low viscosity quaternary ammonium silicone polymer. The presence of amido functionality within the product provides extra flexibility when formulated with anionic surfactants. Moreover, it does not negatively impact foam creation or detergency performance. It is water-soluble and creates crystal-clear conditioning products. It gives good wet conditioning to hair and also softness to the skin when incorporated into body washes. It is PEG-free and can be easily incorporated into the water phase of the formulation. SeraSense® SQ-41 finds application in formulating shampoo, conditioners, body washes and clear products.
