Dimethicone. SeraSense® SF 500 by KCC Beauty acts as an emollient. It is a low viscosity silicone with low surface tension. Offers excellent feel, lubricity and low tack, whilst its spread characteristics can enhance formulation dispersion on the skin as well offering a non-greasy after effect. It also helps to reduce the whitening or 'soaping' effect seen in W/O emulsions. It is inert and non-toxic in nature. SeraSense® SF 500 finds application in formulating skin-care, hair-care and color cosmetic products.
