SeraSilk® EL 75

Dimethicone and Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. SeraSilk® EL 75 by KCC Beauty acts as a strong mattifying and anti-frizz agent. It is a mixture of high molecular weight crosslinked silicone elastomer in 6cSt dimethicone. It has a transparent appearance because of very low degree of crosslink and maintains its clarity upon dilution in low molecular weight silicones. It enhances spreadability and has sebum absorption property, which offers a matte, smooth and non-greasy appearance. Moreover, it has an ability to increase formulation oil phase viscosity and produces light, dry and silky skin feel. SeraSilk® EL 75 finds application in formulating color cosmetics and skin-, sun- and hair-care products.
