Kahlwax 6607L - Sunflower Seed Wax by Kahlwax acts as a protective, consistency, substantivity, thickening and stabilizing agent. It is a very light colored sunflower seed wax which is a side product of the production of the edible oil obtained by milling unhulled seeds. It is free of peroxides and has a transparent melt. It is from non-GMO crude material. It has a well balanced softness-hardness and high oil-binding capacity. When used in stick preparations it leads to very stable formulation with long-lasting shine while having a very elegant skin feel. It considerable improves viscosity of oleogels, pigmented pastes and W/O emulsions without showing any crystallinity like carnauba wax. Used in O/W emulsions its stabilizes the oil phase and improves consistency and lubricity. Kahlwax 6607L - Sunflower Seed Wax is used in decorative cosmetic/make-up, styling/hair foams.
