L-VCG®

L-VCG® by Jiangsu Chengxin Pharmacuetical is a stabilized vitamin C produced biologically by the reaction between glucose and vitamin C. It is highly stable in solution even at high temperatures, low pH and in presence of metal ions. When L-VCG® is converted to vitamin C and enters skin cells, it significantly reduces the production of melanin by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. It also thus acts as an acid scavenger and reduces cell damage. It also promotes collagen synthesis of skin fibroblasts. The released vitamin C reduces fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in younger looking skin. L-VCG® is resistant to discoloration during production or storage of cosmetic products.
