Helianthuss annuus (sunflower) seed wax sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyl dimethyl taurate copolymer. It acts as thickening and film forming agent. It will thicken oil and water phases at the same time. The sunflower wax will aid in substantivity, conditioning properties and aid in emulsion stability. This unique blend allows addition of waxes to water without heating. The water absorbing properties of the sodium polyacrylate allows for the development of very unique textures. It changes feel and texture of the final product. It is available in white to tan powder form. It has low and High pH systems. It improves stability, hydrates quickly, thicken and improve development of colors. It is used in all emulsions, cosmetics, skin care, lotion to a souffle like texture.
