Glycol stearate and stearamide AMP. It acts as as ampholytic surfactant useful as a thickener and opacifier. It is an efficient and versatile emulsifier that is compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. It results in the formation of a distinct pearl as well as a creamy emulsion. Finished formulas have excellent pearl stability and does not adversely affect foaming properties. It is used as an opacifier and stabilizer in all types of shampoos, hair creams and conditioners.
