Isostearyl Alcohol. Jarcol™ I-18VCG by aurorium is a solubilizer, delivery agent and emollient. It is long-chained branch alcohol that has excellent spreading properties. It provides a silky, non-oily & velvety skin feel. It is stable through extreme temperature and remains as a liquid at 0°C. It can maintain its characteristics in hot processing applications due to its exceptional oxidative stability. It is especially suitable for alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) skin treatment products because of its non-ester nature. It is also an excellent fragrance carrier that is used by most fragrance houses. Jarcol™ I-18VCG is recommended for color cosmetics, creams & lotions, sun protection products, body washes and bath foams, antiperspirant & deodorants.
