Jarplex™ SB-OE

Octyldodecyl Shea Butterate. Jarplex™ SB-OE by aurorium acts as an emollient, dispersant and protecting agent. It is a nature-based moisturizing ester and photostable. It offers faster spreading, protection in cold weather applications, rapid penetration without being tacky and powdery after-feel. It is suitable for both organic and inorganic sunscreen actives and replaces octyl-12-hydroxystearate ester, particularly in lower SPF sunscreens. In sunscreen applications, it also adds shine, lubricity, and gives a lighter, less greasy feel. Moreover, it is compatible with other esters, butters, oils, and silicones. Jarplex™ SB-OE is used in hair products, creams, lotions, color cosmetics and sunscreens.
