Iscaguard® MIT

Aqua, Methylisothiazolinone. Iscaguard® MIT distributed by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) acts as a preservative blend and bactericide. It is free of thiazolinone and formaldehyde. Provides formulators with a non formaldehyde-releasing bactericidal solution which is effective at very low use levels. Compatible with existing fungicides like parabens and is more stable in difficult to preserve high pH formulations. It is suitable as replacement for formaldehyde donors in leave-on applications such as skin care & sun care formulations. Iscaguard® MIT is also used in zinc pyrithione-based antidandruff shampoos, high pH surfactant systems and high pH liquid cleaners.
