Pistachio Butter (ICSC)

Pistachia vera kernel oil and Butyrospermum parkii kernel fat. Acts as an emollient and carrier. It is obtained from the dried kernels of the pistachio tree, pistachia vera by cold pressing and subsequent refining. It is then mixed with a soft shea stearine. It is a stable vegetable butter with a neutral taste and odor. It has excellent penetrating quality. It has good spreadability and adds moisturizing attributes to creams and lotions. Used in skin care products.
